What does it do?

A thick, oil-based balm that effectively removes makeup, including waterproof formulas and sunscreen - warms to an oil on contact with skin, then rinses clean. Always follow with a gel or foam cleanser to complete cleansing.

What is the difference between this and a cleansing oil?

Mainly texture - the balm is thicker, making it more travel-convenient and preferable if you don't like the fluidity of an oil.

How do I use it?

Apply a small amount to dry hands, warm between palms, then massage onto dry skin to dissolve makeup and impurities. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then follow with a foam or gel cleanser.

Does it leave a greasy film?

Depends on skin type - it won't dry skin out, but a slight oiliness is possible depending on how much is used and rinsed.

Can it remove long-wear lipstick or eye makeup?

Yes to both - including eye makeup, without burning or discomfort.

Can it be used with eyelash extensions?

Best to check with your lash technician first - the natural oils in the formula can weaken lash adhesive.

Are there any contraindications?

Individual intolerance to ingredients is possible. We recommend a patch test before first use.

Can it be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Yes - contains no ingredients contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor if you have individual concerns.

What if the balm softens?

It can soften in high heat - simply let it return to room temperature and it will firm back up.
